Who We Are

The Greater Narellan Business Chamber is the peak business organisation in the Macarthur region in South West Sydney. As an independent not-for-profit organisation supported by NSW Business Chamber, we are dedicated to helping local businesses of all sizes to maximise their potential.

The Chamber is a passionate advocate for business in the region, with our Executive Committee leading our members to work together to create positive change.

We believe it’s important for our Macarthur business community to succeed, because prosperity creates new jobs, social wealth, and better communities in which to live.

What We Do

The Greater Narellan Business Chamber’s focus is to bring local businesses, of all shapes and sizes, together.  Our meetings give our members the unique opportunity to not only network and promote their business but to form a professional working relationship with their business peers across all industries.  

Narellan Business Chamber has a very strong relationship between business and the wider community across our region.  Many of our members support local charities by sitting on sub committees and Boards and volunteer their services all year round.  We are a very generous and supportive Chamber and we are proud of our commitment to strengthen these relationships.

How we achieve our goals

On a one-to-one basis, the Chamber helps all businesses from small enterprises to large corporations make important and lasting connections with fellow business owners and their employees. The Chamber achieves this by hosting monthly meetings on the second Wednesday of every month, giving businesses the opportunity to connect and build enduring networks.

The Camden Local Government Area

The Camden Local Government Area is located in Sydney’s south-western suburbs, about 60 kilometres from Sydney CBD. The Camden Council population forecast for 2023 is 131,673 and forecast to grow to 241,172 by 2041 a growth of 83.16%, with a current population of 119,951.

The Gross Regional Product is estimated at $6.37billion which represents 1% of the state’s’ GSP (Gross State Product)

The value of building approvals in Camden LGA area was $429m in the 2022-2023 Oct FYTD financial year.

There were 9,583 total GST registered businesses in the area in the June 2022 quarter with 293 new businesses coming into the area, with retail being the highest number of businesses in one category.

Camden Council area has a higher proportion of households in the medium to high income category compared to other areas in NSW. With the future expansion of many areas and an increased level of density the population will grow, business will benefit from this growth and our Greater Narellan Chamber Members want to be part of this fantastic growth.

The Greater Narellan Business Chamber values the partnerships and relationships that we have nurtured over the years with both our members and the wider community.  Even with over 200 members from diverse backgrounds and industries, we always come together to support one another.  

Despite the rapid growth in our area we still see us as a close-knit community and we are proud to be able to support one another whenever and where ever possible.
