Tom shares how he took on a bakery in a small, dying, and isolated county town with a population of 3,000 people: from two staff to 200 full and part timers; from an annual turnover of $100,000 to in excess of $10 million; now serving well over 600,000 customers per year; and the rebirth of a community.

Tom's Beechworth Bakery has become the highest earning single bakery retailer in Australia, and winner of National and State Marketing and Business Awards. His business model is being emulated around the world. Tom is now turning over in excess of $10,000,000 annually (on pies & bread and pastries!) Now with a total of 6 stores located in Beechworth, Albury, Ballarat, Bendigo & Healesville and one franchise in Echuca his Business Manager Marty manages the stores allowing Tom to travel all over Australia. He still markets himself all the time - with press & radio interviews, speaking and book sales & even cooking demonstrations at his stores - still finding time to supports his chosen charities with presentations.
